About PZI

The Mission First

Who We Are, and What We Stand For

Most people care about the environment. Very few have ever been given a clear, honest, daily way to act on that care. The options on offer are complicated, invisible, or quietly unconvincing — a payment into something you cannot see, a promise you cannot check, a certificate that sits in a drawer and changes nothing you can name.

PZI was built to give people something better. Something physical. Something real. Something you can see, touch, and stand beside — a badge on your dashboard, a lapel pin on your collar, a certificate tied to real hectares registering under the world's most rigorous carbon standard, a plantation that will go on growing for the next hundred years. Something, in short, that starts a conversation instead of ending one.

Some things are built from opportunity. Others from obligation. Project Zero Impact belongs firmly to the second. It was not born from a gap in the market — it was born from a gap in the world.

Twenty-one million petrol and diesel vehicles on Australian roads. Land once held by forest, now stripped and left bare. Coastlines surrendered to neglect. And a whole generation of people who care deeply, and have been handed nothing real to do about it. That gap — between the caring and the doing — is where PZI began.

PZI was founded by Gregory Burlow — a Melbourne entrepreneur, filmmaker, and brand leader across many global names — on a single conviction, older than any of us: virtue is not a sentiment. It is a practice. Not something you feel, but something you do — performed daily, in the open, until it becomes the texture of who you are. The Stoics understood this two thousand years ago. A good man is not one who intends well, but one who acts well, again and again, when it would be easier not to. Character is not declared. It is built — one honest act at a time.

That conviction runs through everything we make.

Honesty. Your certificate records only what is true, when it is true. Every hectare mapped. Every milestone documented. Nothing claimed before it is earned — and never a word we could not stand in front of you and defend.

Virtue. The badge is a daily declaration that you act on your values, and do not merely hold them. A small, quiet mark that says: I put something back.

Longevity. We plant for decades. A plantation grows for a century. PZI is built to outlast all of us — the founder included. What we put in the ground is meant to be visited by people not yet born.

Action. We measure ourselves in hectares planted, tonnes drawn down, and certificates issued — never in promises. Growth funds more planting. That is the only metric that matters, because it is the only one the earth can feel.

We do not tell you we make your life carbon neutral. No one honestly can, and we will never be another voice pretending otherwise. What we tell you is simpler, and true: we fund real, verified reforestation to draw down the substantial majority of what you put out — measured honestly, because nature does not work to the decimal. We say only what we can prove, and we prove what we say.

PZI opened to the world on World Environment Day — 5 June 2026. That is how a movement begins. Not with a press release. With a badge, on a real car, funding real ground — and one person deciding that caring was no longer enough.
