Behind every PZI membership is a real plantation — real land, in the ground, growing and working every single day.
We will never tell you your car is carbon neutral. Nobody honestly can — and if someone tells you otherwise, question them. What we will tell you is this: real carbon is removed. It is measured. And our founding plantation is registering under the Verra VCS standard — the most widely used and independently audited carbon methodology in the world.
What our structure does ensure: every membership tier is sized to the typical annual emissions of its vehicle class — small, medium, or large. Drive a normal year, and the substantial majority of your car's carbon is met. Measured, not promised. Drive further, and you can always top up. We deal in what is real — and we say only what we can stand behind.
Australia destroys more than 400,000 hectares of forest every year. The vast majority is never replanted. We are the only developed nation on the global deforestation hotspot list. PZI exists to push back against that. Every hectare we bring into the ground is a permanent addition to the planet's carbon estate.
And the push-back is coming home. We are working toward purchasing land here in Australia — planting natives, restoring what was cleared, building living reserves that belong to every Australian. Ground you can drive past. Ground your children can stand on. Sri Lanka is where we began. Australia is where we are headed.
And carbon is only where it starts. Bamboo stabilises soil. It raises water tables. It cleans the air that moves through it and returns biodiversity to land that had none. That is why our founding partnership stands within the Sri Lankan bamboo industry — and why every hectare builds toward permanent nature reserves: living land, protected, working long after the ledger is balanced.
Deforestation in Australia displaces 50 to 100 million native animals every year. That is the scale of what we push back against.
Offsetting is the maths. The land is the point.

Our Services
PZI is building toward a full environmental services arm: carbon offset consulting, environmental due diligence, and impact assessment for business. As our own plantations and expertise mature, we will offer organisations the same honest, measured, verifiable approach we bring to every member. (In development — targeting 2028.)
