Most people care about the environment. Very few have been given a clear, honest, daily way to act on that care. The options on offer are complicated, invisible, or unconvincing.
PZI was built to give people something better.
Something physical. Something real. Something you can see, touch, and point to. Something that starts a conversation — a badge on your dashboard, a lapel pin on your collar, a certificate tied to real hectares registering under the world's most rigorous carbon standard, a real plantation growing for the next hundred years.
Some things are built from opportunity. Others from obligation. Project Zero Impact belongs to the second category.
Twenty-one million petrol and diesel vehicles on Australian roads. Degraded land that once held forests. Coastlines surrendered to neglect. And a generation of people who care deeply but have been given nothing real to do about it. That gap is where PZI was born.
PZI was founded by Gregory Burlow — Melbourne-based entrepreneur, filmmaker, and brand leader across many global names — on one philosophical principle: virtue is not a sentiment. It is a practice. Performed daily. Visibly. Until it becomes the texture of who you are.
Honesty — Your certificate records only what is true, when it is true. Every hectare mapped. Every milestone documented. Nothing claimed before it is earned.
Virtue — The badge is a daily declaration that you act on your values — not merely hold them.
Longevity — We plant for decades. A plantation grows for a century. PZI is built to outlast all of us.
Action — We measure success in hectares planted, tonnes removed, and certificates issued. Growth funds more planting. That is the only metric that matters.
